Our Mission...

To provide a solid academic foundation for youth parents (14-21 years old) and their children (3-5 years old) as a springboard for success in the achievement of academic, personal and family goals.  We do this by developing students who are Equipped for the Futrue as parents, workers, citizens and community members. 

MEI Futures Academy is:

1. A boarding school for teen mothers ages 14 - 21  committed to obtaining a H.S. Diploma;
2. A Pre K &  K program for children ages 3-5; 
3. A project based academic and vocational program that offers Instruction with Work Readiness Certification.

MEI Futures Academy PCS...

...successfully opened in  September 2007 with 73 high school students and 45 lower school students.  Maximum enrollment, in year five, will be 270 students.

...is an Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound (ELOB) school, providing data driven instruction, in inclusive multi-level classrooms, and using the proven curricular models of Equipped for the Future (EFF), MELD, Parents As Teachers, Bridges to Practice & High/Scope.
